About Switch Bricks

Picture
Switch Bricks was created in 2012 from a desire to share the love of LEGO with a wider audience and to create something fun and different for kids to do on the school holidays in the Ipswich Area.

As a long time LEGO collector, Switch Bricks owner-operator, Tammy, has always dreamed of one day opening a permanent LEGO themed play centre/museum/shop/ imagination hive of activity.

Unable to wait for "one day" any longer, she took inspiration from the emerging "pop-up shop/restaurant" culture to create a "here- one-day-gone-the-next" holiday activity centre in her much loved home town of Ipswich (affectionately known to locals as "The Switch"...)

Thus Switch Bricks was born.

Aiming to operate every school holidays with new, exciting and ever expanding themed activities based on our favourite plastic bricks, be sure to check in regularly for updates about upcoming Switch Bricks events !
