Why should I check session availability before coming ?
Sessions will sell out and we'd hate for you to turn up to a booked out session and leave disappointed as sessions do have capacity limits - Switch Bricks is kind of like a concert - if you want to guarantee your attendance... better to book your tickets in advance - book via our email - email@example.com or like us on facebook and send a message!
Can more than one adult get in free ?
Yes - basically any adult accompanying a paying child is welcome to attend for FREE so feel free to bring mum, dad, granny and grand-dad if they are keen - as a young family ourselves we are hoping to offer a family friendly event for everyone to enjoy. Big brothers or sisters over 14 are welcome to come play with their younger siblings free of charge
I don't have children - can I still attend ?
Switch Bricks is a play and display activity for kids - in order to keep our venue super safe adults who are not accompanying children will be refused entry sorry :(
Is this an official LEGO event ?
No. The LEGO group does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this activity in any way. Switch Bricks does not represent LEGO in any capacity. As indicated this is just one super huge LEGO fan sharing the love of the little brick with her community.
I'm an AFOL and I'd like to display a MOC at Switch Bricks
We're considering taking on displays from AFOLS interested in showing their work - please contact us if you are interested
Are the exhibits for sale at Switch Bricks
No. The displays are part of Tammy's private LEGO collection. A very small amount of LEGO may be available for sale on the day you attend (first in best dressed) so bring your pocket money
Is there parking at the venue ?
Absolutely - there are car parks on site (first in first served) and plenty of on street unrestricted parking
Can I bring food ?
Yes. You are welcome to bring food and drinks - we just ask that these are consumed in the designated areas to avoid sticky bricks, and damage to the premises. There will be refreshments and light snacks on offer at the venue for family-friendly prices as well. There is a shopping centre only a few hundred metres up the road , as well as a number of take-away establishments within a few km's drive if you wish to purchase alternative food.
What should I wear ? :-]
No thats not a silly question ... the hall is extremely well ventilated with large fans that keep us super cool in Summer and reverse in winter to keep hot air in (however we do recommend bringing a jumper as the Switch can get chilly ;)
